De Cameron Guest House

The guest house is absolutely perfectly located next to the bus station, just two minutes from the bus station. The guest house is very clean. You have a shared kitchen, shared bathrooms with hot water. The lady taking care of the Guesthouse is very nice and gentle. I had a private room with q ventilator, which you don't even have to use it, because mornings and evenings are pretty chill in Cameroon Highlands.

The windows are very very thin and they don't isolate at all the outside noises Also the walls are very very thin and you can hear the other persons snoring in the other rooms. If they are talking loud at midnight, you will hear everything just because they are not educated. The lady from the guest house gave me earplugs, but unfortunately they wear not sufficient to cover all the noise.

The private room should be more soundproof. I stayed at room 1 . Also got issue with bringing my luggage to upstairs via a long narrow staircase.

Good for budget trip. Room with shared bathroom Cleanliness is superb

No parking nearer to the motel.

The host was very accommodating of us. She took our clothes in the evening and they were ready and clean by morning. She provided us with an extra fan to dry our shoes.

But the room didn’t have much ventilation and the air felt very stagnant if the fan wasn’t on but the fan also made the room very cold. I also think the bed, or under the bed, was very dusty. Both my partner and I would wake up with blocked noses and itchy eyes. Which made an otherwise very pleasant stay a little uncomfortable.

It is located near several places to eat, and a 7-Eleven a couple doors away. Hot water and a fridge are available. Bus terminal is across the street.

The stairs are very steep and quite long. There is only a single pane of glass between you and the main (only) street.
