We had trouble paying for the room. At first the hotel owner agreed and took us in USD, and let us leave our luggage. But the next day when we returned, a woman insisted on paying in local currency, which we didn’t have enough for because we were going to Kazakhstan soon. And she wouldn’t let us pick up our luggage. After a heated argument, they forced us to buy Kyrgyzstani currency at a very bad exchange rate compared to the market. They didn’t even let us wash up or use the restroom, whereas the day before they had happily told us we could come back anytime and use the restroom to rest a bit before continuing our journey.

Everything, so clean, new, comfortable with v friendly staff. Such a restful place to stay. Excellent facilities & v cost effective. Use of washing machine was a huge, appreciated benefit & owner was incredibly helpful & kind.

Stayed 2 nights. It was quiet, so I slept well. I could use the washing machine and kitchen. There was always hot water. The location was fine with a taxi since the city is small.

Quiet, clean, comfy, washing machine and kitchen facilitirs free tu use, very friendly english speaking staff, bike friendly - very good value indeed!

Clean and comfortable room with a great kitchen and washing machine to use. Thanks for a great stay in a beautiful town with so much to do right from the doorstep! A great shower too, makes a big difference!

The host was a bit absent not living at the property, we struggled to know we were at the right place initially as no one was in and there were no signs anywhere that suggested it was a guest house, then we struggled to track the host down to pay her at the end of the stay!

Very clean and big kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Really difficult to find, we had to wait 45-60 min outside before anyone opened, but i guess this could be arranged better. A bjt far from city center, but over all good stay and good value for money
