Caterpillar Cottage, tucked away in Kelbrook

Quiet, village location. Easy access to circular walks from.cottage.

The bed - Queen size would fit in the room and mattress was too soft. Garden needs tidying up.

The location was a quiet terraced house in the middle of a village

Parking was tricky, and there was little outside space

Kitchen well equipped. We self catered for our breakfast and evening meal. Very clean and comfortable. We lit the stove one evening, as it was a rainy and cool. It soon warmed the room and was very cosy.

Advertised on site parking is only suitable for a (very) small car. Location information was not sent as promised. I had to chase the agent in order to find out exactly where the cottage was located. The formal e-mail with this information arrived 24 hrs after us. The wifi is to say the least patchy. As a result the TV spent an inordinate amount of time buffering.

Such a beautiful cosy cottage with some lovely local walks. Host Lisa is lovely and provided everything we needed.

The WiFi was a bit temperamental but that’s to be expected in the country side

Tucked away on a tiny side street, private and quiet.

Both access for the car & parking was challenging at times. Ideally best to reverse up to the property from main road, reversing out was risky due to blind spots created by other parked cars right up to the edge of the turning.
