La Vida Loca Apartment

The apartment was fully equipped, warm, quiet and domestic. The location is good, near public transportation. If you like to walk, near by a lot of attraction and city centre.

A lot of poops and other trash on the pavement in this area.

Avoid! misleading photos! Slams, neglected, poorly maintained and resembles a prison on the inside. I’ve attached pictures I took to show the reality. This is likely why the owner doesn’t allow cancellations and refunds. Cockroaches and damp mildew smell. Climbing into bed is difficult and dangers! when reaching the top to stand-up, your head hits the ceiling. The bedding, sheets, and towels smells bad. The pillow was uncomfortable, leaving me with a sore neck. Sitting on the toilet is uncomfortable due to the limited space, causing your head to hit the wall. The apartment is cleaned amateurishly by the owner, NOT by a professional cleaner. This is why there’s a persistent awful smell and dirt that attracts cockroaches. From a neighbor I learned that this building serves as housing for homeless provided by the municipality. She also mentioned that many visitors often feel disappointed and shocked by the experience.

Very quiet. Everything is clean and new. Good location,close to the metro station and shops. The apartment is on the ground floor, the window faces the courtyard so you never see the sun there. Great for such a hot summer but not for a cold season. All the kitchen equipment is nice,including my favourite Nespresso coffeemaker. Actually, lots of advantages for a reasonable price. Our host was sociable and helpful. It would be perfect but for 1 problem.

Cockroaches! Every evening we were met by a couple of cockroaches. Once i saw a big one upstairs, on the mezzanine ,just in front of my eyes when i woke up. I' ve found some sprays in the drawer, so it seems to be a constant problem. Besides,the steep stairs to the mezzanine can be a problem. It was ok for us but not for everybody. Just pay attention to it. There is a sofa on the ground level but it is short and narrow, for 1 person.

Great location 200m then 2 stops to metro. Quiet. Lots of hot water and good air conditioning. Good facilities.

The main bed is on a mezzanine level with a ladder access (ships ladder) and very low ceiling. Shower room is a little small

I like everything

It was very convenient to the course I was taking and also in the Westend neighborhood, so I could walk everywhere. The hosts made sure everything needed for a longer stay was provided. Even though it was in a courtyard, it was quiet at night. There were lots of supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance.

I have no complaints; everything was fine.
