Very safe and clean apartment dwelling. The staff are so extremely kind, helpful, and supportive. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe. The breakfast is excellent and delicious. A heads up to fellow American tourists, part of the beauty is the more isolated location of Amalfi Coast. The SITA buses will stop running at certain days/tines. Just look it up. I also used the MoovIt app - very useful. The hosts are amazing and can help you navigate sightseeing. I highly recommend seeing Sorrento and doing the Flying Dress photoshoot with Raphaele and using Booking for a sailing boat tour of Amalfi. The sita bus drivers only take euros to pay for the tickets. They are interesting people but also VERY highly skilled. Just relax and enjoy the views. Oh, and you have to also yell at them to stop at your stop. Yes, it’s culturally normal to walk on the windy roads. Be mindful (more of the tourist drivers because Italians know how to drive the roads) but it is very normal. You can’t go wrong with the food at Amalfi Center. All delicious.
