The place is really nice, modern and comfortable. The pool was a big plus!

The location is besides a road, not too noisy, but something to consider if you are looking for a "peaceful hideout".

"Exceptional location and excellent guesthouse."

We had an excellent 3-night stay at the guesthouse. Everything was spotlessly clean. Nice bathroom and good shower. Comfy bed. Good heatpump-style room heaters that worked well and were easy to control. Big and well equipped kitchen. The location for exploring the northeast corner of the island is exceptional (our favorite part of Sao Miguel). Very nice electronically gated parking. Highly recommended.

The one thing we missed was a comfy place to sit and hang out on the upper level (where the kitchen, one bathroom and two bedrooms are. A couch with a few soft chairs could easily fit. Maybe a TV upstairs too.

Beautiful, modern, very clean and completely new house.Situated in a quiet and gorgeous area of the island but very well connected to all of the main sights. As we arrived late we did not meet the owners in person but they were always available via WhatsApp and also shared good recommendations for things todo on the island. :) we would definitely come back if we visit Sao Miguel again.
