The Irishman's Cottage

The Irishman's Cottage is in a wonderful location with a handful of similar cottages about a 30 minute walk to the nearest village / pub. The hot tub is on a patio over looking open fields - perfect for relaxing, although you do need to plan ahead as the wood burner takes a while to warm the water through. We woke up on the first morning to the sight of an owl outside our window!

Very spacious, loved the hot tub, loved the remote location and wildlife, the large bed, the bath in the bedroom was a nice romantic touch with a fantastic choice of lighting.

We were there for a week but only had one towel each and only one tea towel. This meant we were without when doing washing. We were very lucky that the weather was so good to get them dried quickly as there was no tumble dryer.

Lovely cottage have clean and nicely decorated.

The hot tube is warmed up by building a fire underneath it which you have to keep going outside and adding wood to, we did this for 4/5 hours and it was still not warm enough to get in.
