Kings Inn Public House

Having the use of a kitchen, with facilities was a definite plus. Very comfortable bed. Nice thick carpet in the room.

Wasn’t really anything I didn’t like.

Easy walking distance of Creswell Crags, local shops and model village. Very comfortable bed, nice big room, fridge in shared kitchen.

The water pressure was low when we arrived and took ages to fill the bath but was lovely and hot. We were warned it was a ‘lively’ pub so expected noise and weren’t disappointed as it was a bank holiday darts match and the pub was heaving and loud but it didn’t stop us sleeping well and the pub customers were friendly and helpful with directions to places.

upon arrival to the property, my husband and i went into the bottom pub for assistance with the gate code and staff was rude abrupt and not helpful. Also felt a bit of discrimination towards our culture and beliefs.

The Hotel room was spaces and well decorated.

The Access road was very tight

Took our own provisions. Well equipped kitchen. Tea towels etc provided,. Nearby shops for milk, bread etc. Nice meals at another local pub. Creswell Crags local historic attraction nearby. Bolsover Castle, another interesting place to visit.

Although we knew of a rock group gig one night in the pub below, & were warned it might be loud. It finished at 11.30pm. This wasn't as noisy as the other two nights with a blaring juke box, & men shouting until after midnight.
