Beautiful location, birdsong, comfortable spaces inside and out, fireplace heats the whare well.

Minor issues - ants and midges were hōhā, noisy pump through the night, bit musty, lost power and water in the heavy rains, and nowhere to hang any clothes lol.

Location was peaceful and beautiful

Advertise for 6 guests - only two dining chairs and 5 sofa seats. Shortage of crockery for 6. Third bedroom external to main accommodation (not made clear in advert.)

Great location

The key lock was difficult to open, and the PIN code provided by Booking.com didn’t work. I had to email the host to get the correct PIN code, which was sorted within 20 minutes. However, due to the lack of mobile coverage at the property, the response was slightly delayed, although the internet worked fine. Mobile coverage is available about 100 meters away from the property by the lake. Other than the issue with the key and mobile coverage, the place is beautiful.

2 single beds were pushed togeather as a double .a little uncomfortable. They would have been better left apart

A cosy place to stay. We had everything we needed. The fireplace was lovely when the nights started getting chilly.
