Walk to Downtown Salem

Excellent communication with the hosts, who greeted us with outstanding recommendations for enjoying Salem. The place would be outstanding for families or two couples. So much room and well supplied kitchen. Quiet spot for excellent privacy.

If you don’t bring an eye mask, you will be up with the sun. The windows are large and lovely, but they’re covered by white, vinyl blinds that light right up with the sun. f there was coffee, we couldn’t find it. We picked some up, and they had everything we’d need to brew a lovely cup.

Location is perfect!!! There is an amazing Italian place right around the corner and a conviece store next to it! It is also a 10 minute walk to downtown salem!!! The beach is also right around the corner! The stay was very nice and comfy!!!! Will definitely be coming back! Thank you for everything Steve!!!!

It was spacious and had enough paper supplies for two people. Plenty of storage for clothes and other items and a nice linen closet with plenty of linens.

It was very plain and bare. The extension cords next to the bed for use as plug ins were not ideal and concerned me. It wasn’t the worst walk to downtown but it wasn’t that great either. The neighborhood felt sketchy on some corners. The refrigerator and cabinets had outdated food left in them. The laundry supplies were lacking as we only had half a container of off brand detergent and that’s all. The person up stairs walked what felt like all evening and night across the floor and was very loud. At the price point we paid per night, I expected a stay that felt more cozy and less like a last ditch effort if I’m being honest.
