The Flower Guest House

The location was easy to find. The room was very neat and clean and very comfortable.

The place was clean, beds were comfortable and plenty blankets and towels. We (family of 5 with kids) stopped over from knysna to Johannesburg for 1 night. We checked in around 9 pm due to heavy rainfall and terrible driving conditions but Marelise waited and welcomed us with a smile. We had hot water throughout our stay. A small kitchen with basic utensils, tea and coffee station. Good value for money

I liked the fact that the host is very laid back and nevr bothers you. She does her own thing and we never saw her much. Very friendly. The place is very clean, very nice beds and the bedding was outstanding. Everything about it was perfect. We wnjoyed the pool and when it rained during the night, we could hear it fall on the carport roof. It was a very soothing and pleasant experience. Airon was nice because it was quite warm in Bloemfontein when we were there.

I would have liked some hand soap and shower gel. One thing that I did not like is the fact that that was a quarter toilet roll left from the previous guests. It made you feel that you had to pick up where other people left off and it felt like it wasn't your home away from home. We also cooked and it was a bit uncomfortable with very little workspace. It could be much more comfortable with a slightly bigger kitchen workspace.
