Mount D'Urban Campsite

Wonderful campsite with very nice hiking and 4x4 trails. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The nightsky was stunning. Also they offer fresh meat, self-made bread and a lot of other delicious products.

Lots of thought obviously went into the design and building of each site. Everything was just perfect from the covered patio with braai and wash up area to the private stone bathroom with a piping hot shower all overlooking the valley. Smart solar lighting and accessory charge points and even had concrete tie down blocks to save you trying to hammer tent pegs into the hard ground. Lovely little pool surrounded by lush green lawn was a welcome relief from the harsh surrounds.

Location has wonderful views and a very special night sky. No interfering urban lights. Great bread, too, thanks.

Great campsite!

Everything! Really luxurious campsite. You can buy fresh bread (!!!), jam and meat from their farm. It was delicious. We were sad to stay only one night. Deserved to be more known. The owners are super kind. If you hesitate to stop in this region, please don’t.

Campsite is nestled in a beautiful natural setting and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lush landscapes. The atmosphere is tranquil and perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The facilities are well-maintained, with clean restrooms and shower facilities. All campsites are spacious and offer plenty of privacy. What truly stood out was the friendly and helpful staff. They provided excellent recommendations and made sure we had everything for braai we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, Mount D'Urban Campsite is a hidden gem for nature lovers. we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by stunning scenery !

Nothing to complain.

Perfect Campground with fire pit and a small outdoor kitchen. On top each site has its own private Bathroom and Shower with warm water at each site! Power supply is also there. Great location in breathtaking landscape. You can even do some light hikes. Also there is a nice pool and small playground for kids.
