The location is excellent and very convenient. Also, the staff members were incredibly helpful, polite, and welcoming throughout our stay.

While the price was reasonable and renting the whole villa was a plus, the overall comfort and facilities were quite lacking. The amenities could definitely be improved to match the value

Because, although the property was booked for the date and booking.com confirmed it, owner had already given the property to a different person for stay. And the worst part was he would not pick up the call. We had to call more than 6,7 times to contact him. And finally he mentioned that he forgot to update in the application. We were already traveling to trincomalee and halfway of traveling believing that our stay is confirmed and nothing to worry. Finally he offered a different place which was not as per our expectation and he didn’t give any chance to look at the later given property before stay. This is not a welcoming experience for anyone looking forward to stay here. 😞

It was very nice that the house was huge, we especially enjoyed the balcony. It is in a very quiet area, conveniently located between trincomalee town and uppuveli beach. dinesh, the host, was very friendly and spontaneous - we booked the house on the day of the check-in, and it was no problem to arrive in the late evening.

there could have been more natural lighting in the ground floor (which is just due to the way the house is constructed and not much of an issue if you spend time outside or on the balcony). we could have used some more cutlery in the kitchen, though.
