La terrazza di Palermo

The location was so convenient for walking to many sights, and right next to a fun historic market. The apartment (which requires walking up a few flights) has a beautiful view in 3 directions from the rooftop terrace connected to the very well stocked upstairs kitchen. There is a larger bedroom with a full bed, a small twin bedroom, and a big living room with a pull-out sofa. The windows open all around the apartment so you can enjoy the sounds of Palermo and the beautiful weather. The host Giuseppe is responsive and kind.

Very spacious apartments. Excellent terrace. Very close to the historic centre of Palermo. Very close to the bus and train station. Very close to Lidl and market, which is not unimportant if you live in apartments. No need to use public transport. I liked that there were paper towels in the kitchen, which, in my experience, you often have to buy yourself. The host has thought of coffee, tea, water.

The view from terrace was stunning. Location was very convenient. Few steps to the Ballaro market and close to all attractions, but very peaceful at night. Giuseppe was extremely friendly and welcoming. Always ready to help. Place fully equipped with everything you need even for longer holiday. We had a great stay and definitely will be back!

There were a lot of stairs to get up to the apartment

The host was very helpful. He arranged taxis to the airport and gave us lots of useful information. The apartment is comfortable and spacious. Air conditioning worked well and was definitely needed in the Sicilian heat. The single bedroom doesn't have air conditioning but with the door open into the living area, it was cool enough. Beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed. The apartment was away from the very busy streets and quite overnight. The bathrooms were small but very clean and newly decorated. Bathrooms had hairdryers, soap and all essentials. The 2 showers had good water pressure, however you could only use one shower at a time or the water went cold. The kitchen is nice and well equipped. The private roof terrace is lovely with great views of the city and surrounding areas.

The location. It is very central, very close to the Ballero market and lots of sights. However, the local area, and particularly the street outside the apartment was very dirty, run down and did not feel very safe, especially at night. We did not have any issues but would think twice about staying in this area if I was alone or had young children. This was the only negative and, obviously, cannot be helped by the host

Giuseppe is a wonderful host, he went above and beyond to procure a baby crib for us. We also very much appreciated the little things, like water in the fridge or milk for your morning coffee. He really made us feel welcome. The apartment is modern and equipped with everything you will need. And then of course the view from your private and spacious the terrace is awesome. The location is also excellent for visiting all the historical places on foot or enjoy the nightlife.

Nice appartment in a good location. With all the small details for a comfort stay. Everything you need was there, also some snacks, coffe, milk, water.. Everything was perfect, exluding the fact, somebody took our telephone and money (stolen).

Unfortunately, we have been robbed in the appartment, while we have been inside. But this is not owner responsibility. Close the door on th terrace, while you are inside or have left the appartment. Owner was very supportive all the time, and everything that he could do was done.

Beautiful modern apartment over two floors. High end amenities are provided. Rooftop balcony offers a stunning view of the city. The host has been amazing and went out of his way to accomodate us. Highly recommended!
