Loft Playa Los Venados

Incredible location, on the most beautiful quiet beach

It was very tired and needs updating. The kitchen was ill equipped compared to many other places

Cellular data wasn’t too good, and the bathroom floor was always wet for some reason

The location is amazing (if you like off the beaten track). The house has interesting architecture and great furniture, with a fantastic view of the ocean, and private steps down to the beach. The bottled water on tap in the kitchen was excellent, and vital for this isolated location. Agustín, the manager, was very helpful, although he walks out from the village, so we didn't want to burden him with requests. Guests need to bring everything you need for your stay - all food, drinks etc as the nearest shops are in the village, there are no facilities /restaurants at the beach.

Unfortunately, the mosquitos were a problem, and difficult to keep out of the house, as it is not air tight. No repellant or mozzie spray was supplied, no mozzie net, or even a fly swat. The single air conditioning unit was hardly able to keep up with the heat. The entrance to the property was not obvious, and needs upkeep, and some outside areas need cleaning. The waves in October were too strong for much swimming, or to make use of the kayak or boards supplied (there was also no leash, so not safe anyway).
