Apartment Take it easy

Die Wohnung hat der Beschreibung entsprochen. Es war sehr sauber und es war alles da, was man braucht. Die Terrasse Ist schön und die Lage ist gut. Wir waren in ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum Die Unterkunft kann ich empfehlen.

My friend and I decided to stay in Ljubljana on a short notice, and by the time we were looking to book a place, there weren't many options available, so I'm glad we came across Take It Easy. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood and we were pleasantly surprised to see an elevator when we arrived (though the description mentioned that there isn't one, so perhaps this is a new addition). The studio is big enough for two people, though I think more could fit if the purpose of travel is exploration. The kitchen was well-stocked. Since we knew there's no AC in the apartment, we checked and confirmed there will be a fan. Luckily, though we traveled in July, the temperature in Ljubljana wasn't as high as some other places in Europe, so the fan was perfectly sufficient during our stay. The balcony is huge and a perfect place to drink your coffee/tea in the morning. The apartment was about a 20-min walk from the old town area and all the restaurants, shops, and the castle. I think you could use a city bus if you don't want to walk, but we didn't mind walking so we never tried the bus. I did use the bus to travel to the city from the airport and it was much cheaper and more convenient, so I highly recommend it as an option. At minimum, you could take the bus from the airport to the central bus station and from there take a taxi to the apartment if you don't want to use the city bus system. It will still be much cheaper than taking a taxi from the airport. There is a bus stop very close to the apartment, though. Communication with the host was smooth and we enjoyed our stay in the apartment!

There wasn't anything that we didn't like, but I thought I'd mention a couple of things that I think would make the apartment even more welcoming. For example, a screen door for the balcony would have been perfect to allow us to leave the door open during the night. The nights during our stay were cool and we wouldn't even need the fan if we could leave the door open. Without a screen door, however, mosquitos and other summer bugs would come in. Another helpful item would be a drying rack for clothes (in case people stay longer and need to use the washing machine). With the huge balcony, it'd be super convenient to dry washed clothes. There seemed to be clotheslines in an outside area by the elevator, but our key didn't work for that door.

The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and reasonably close to Old Town. Our host allowed us to check in early in the day which was great because we came into town on an overnight bus. There was a decent grocery store nearby.

The balcony, the kitchen and small living was super nice to relax after a busy day

There was no airconditioning and the appartment was on the fifth floor and there were no elevators the time we were there but they were installing them!

Nice appartment, not so close to city center, have supermarket arround, owner is very nice and helpful
