Villa Kamaya, Chamarel

The view from the villa is breathtaking, the pictures does not do it justice. You have the entire villa to yourself along with the pool which is very private making it perfect for families/couples. Do not hesitate to book i promise this was the best value for money accommodation I stayed in mauritius (I stayed in 5 star hotels but honestly this was better). Lastly the hosts were very responsive and catered to our every need. Thank you for the hospitality and we will definitely come back if we get a chance to visit mauritius again ❤️

Wunderschöne und stilvolle Villa mit grandiosem Ausblick in die Natur und sehr ruhiger Lage. Schöner Pool mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten draussen. Besonders für Familien und kleine Gruppen geeignet.

The living space was great and as well the big terrace near the pool . Full space to enjoy our stay mostly on the terrace and weather was great. .

A door between the toilet / bath and the room would be most appropriate

Our stay at Alix and Alice’s place was absolutely magical! The home was beautiful, peaceful, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Alix and Alice are wonderful hosts, thank you for making our stay so special.

Host was very rude over the phone. Accusing is of not cleaning the place. Since I paid for that I am not abide to clean the villa. As a client it’s not my job to so that. Else I would have stayed at home. The host was very rude when they called saying that we should have cleaned the place. Yes we did clean the place but we are not supposed to mob the whole villa and etc. I go to hotels and other villas were they treat you much better.

Our stay at the villa was a good experience. The connection with nature was one of the standout features, as the villa is surrounded by beautiful greenery and peaceful surroundings, making it a great spot to relax and recharge. The property offered excellent privacy, allowing us to enjoy our time together without any interruptions. It was also very spacious, with more than enough room for our large group to feel comfortable. The layout worked perfectly for both group activities and individual downtime. The host was polite and helpful, attending to our requests when needed, which made our stay smooth and enjoyable. Overall, this villa is a great choice for anyone looking for a private, spacious, and nature-connected retreat, especially for larger groups.

This is a true gem. The beautiful pictures don’t even do it justice! Can’t say what is better: the house itself or the view and its surroundings! We felt very lucky to be able to spend a week here. Thanks Alex and Alice for a ton of stunning memories!
