La Vie Cappadocia Cave

The view and location is excellent, we watched balloons from our balcony in the morning. We loved the hot tub and the bed was very comfortable. The room was exactly as expected from the photos. It was so nice to get a full Turkish breakfast every morning with lots of preserves and olives. Fatih was a very welcoming and attentive host.

Hospitality very nice

Lovely place with so many great features! The location is fantastic—walking distance to Uçhisar Castle and nearby hiking trails. The rooftop offers stunning views, and the hot tub in the room was such a cool addition, making the cave stay extra special. We also loved the little touches like having two TVs, a mini fridge, and a delicious breakfast each morning. It’s super convenient for travelers, as all the tours pick up from this area. The whole experience felt safe and seamless—no complaints at all. Highly recommend this unique and cozy cave hotel!

Amazing and incredibly friendly staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. The Turkish breakfast was absolutely delicious and generous, offering a perfect start to our days. The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking views, and the rooms are both beautiful and comfortable. Highly recommended for a memorable stay!

Our trip to Capadoccia was memorable and part of it was thanks to Mr. Fatih. He helped us with the transfer from the airport. He welcomed us with a big smile. We loved the room, the location and the view from the terrace. We will always recommend this hotel. Thank you!!!

Location is great, short walk to main center. To be fair, Uchisar is not big, so most hotels would be a short walk. View is very open, there is nothing in front of us you can admire the natural formation of rocks. Fatih is the owner and is nice, very attentive. Answered many questions that we had, also showed us how we should plan our route for sight seeing as we drive. He also warned us about the situation of the hot air balloon Which has gotten too expensive, and we ended up didn't do it in Cappadocia and did it in Pamukkale.

I do feel the music played at the rooftop cafe (which is just above us) is a bit too loud at night given it's not a bar. I think after a certain at night, say 8-9pm it should stop as there is no AC in the room, so we have to open windows to sleep otherwise might be too stuffy. The sound insulation around the main room door can be improved as our room is next to hotel main entrance, so could hear passed by or the road traffic. I didn't get very good sleep the first night due to those sounds Breakfast is identical everyday, so after 2 days we didn't find it very attractive (we stayed 4 nights). The breakfast portion is good though, but only eggs are actually cooked on demand, rest of the breakfast is ready-made food like cheese, olives. May be it's Turkey hotel convention, our room was not cleaned once in that 4 nights, rubbish bin were not emptied, toilet paper we had to ask for more (was given 1 roll). I am ok to keep using the same towel because you do that at home, but rubbish bin not being dealt with I feel not very good. Overall the experience is good, I wish they can improve a few minor things to make the experience even better.

Location, nearby cafes, vibe of the area, views, functionality of everything, cleanliness and breakfast

Room was not cleaned daily, staff was limited and not very welcoming/hospitable. Airport pickup was offered by booking a third-party shuttle and we were charged double the price of the shuttle booking amount. Our flight schedule was clearly communicated but we nearly missed our flight because the shuttle made like 7 stops to pick up people. It was cutting too close, we arrived 45 minutes before departure. Hotel staff should offer better overall support to guests.
