Liana Guest House Ella

The room was very large, clean and had amazing views. The host was very helpful at all times and made us feel at home. Breakfast each morning was fantastic we even had the juices waiting for us on the balcony. The service was the best we have had in Sri Lanka, would highly recommend. There was no air con but it had a fan which was more than enough to keep us cool it was perfect.

The property is a little out of town but if you are confident on a moped then it’s fine and the host did also offer Tuk tuk service ! Location was fine for us with moped which rented from the host.

We 100% recommend Liana’s Guest House! Everything was perfect – the room, the service, and above all the kindness and dedication of Hareen, the host. He truly made our stay feel like a 5-star hotel. Breakfast was delicious, and he was always willing to help. He even drove us to the starting point of the Ella Rock hike (where there’s no parking) and later picked us up with our tuk tuk. His hospitality went far beyond our expectations. If you’re visiting Ella, staying at Liana’s Guest House is a must!

Everything was perfect!

Gospodarz jest bardzo, ale to bardzo serdeczny i pomocny. Sniadania byly zawsze przepyszne i obfite, a pokoje choc skromne, bardzo czyste i wygodne. Lokalizacja z dala od zgielku turystycznego centrum miasteczka.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Guesthouse war einfach perfekt! 🌿 Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, ruhig gelegen und eingebettet inmitten wunderschöner Natur – ein echter Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen. Die Lage ist ideal, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell zu erreichen und die Umgebung zu erjunden. Gleichzeitig genießt man hier absolute Ruhe abseits des Trubels. Das Frühstück und Dinner waren ausgezeichnet – besonders das frische Obst und Gemüse teilweise aus eigenem Anbau waren so lecker. Der sehr zuvorkommende Host und sein Team kümmern sich liebevoll um ihre Gäste und haben uns auch bei der Organisation von Ausflügenunterstützt. Hareen, der Host, ist ein noch junger Mann, der aber schon sehr erfahren scheint und sein Guesthouse mit Herzblut betreibt. Ihm ist es sehr wichtig, sich stetig zu verbessern und nimmt Ratschläge sehr gerne an, was ihn noch sympathischer macht. Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Ort vorstellen können und empfehlen dieses Guesthouse von Herzen weiter. Viel Liebe an Hareen und sein Team und noch mehr nette Gäste für die Zukunft. Macht weiter so, Ihr seid toll. Wir werden uns wiedersehen 💚🌿🇱🇰❤️

New, clean and comfortable accomodation in a calm spot with beautiful views! The host is very nice and attentive.

Guest house piccola (due stanze), nuova (eravamo gli ospiti n. 22) economica e molto accogliente. Il proprietario e i suoi fratelli sono stati davvero gentili e disponibili. Siamo stati accompagnati in città dal fratello del proprietario con il tuk tuk a prezzo economico rispetto alla media e da un altro driver fino al Nine Arches Bridge (sempre ad un ottimo prezzo). Proprietario disponibile anche velocemente per una scappata in città con tuk tuk dell’ultimo momento. Cena ottima ed economica e ottima colazione (inclusa). Lo consigliamo davvero!

I had a wonderful stay at Liana Guest House! The property is brand new, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and the view is simply breathtaking – you really feel immersed in nature. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, always available and even offering tuk-tuk rides around Ella, which made moving around super easy. The guest house is about 2 km from the town center, and you can also reach it on foot through a shortcut in around 30 minutes. I truly recommend staying here – such a beautiful place and a fantastic discovery!
