Hotel Al Hayit Teracce

Fantastic value, location is walkable to the main tourist area in Bukhara and other attractions. Room is clean and spacious. Mini fridge and kettle included. My room had a "smart" TV that I was able to cast YouTube videos to from my phone. The free breakfast is adequate but not quite as nice as what is shown in the pictures.

Hot water in the shower doesn't seem totally reliable. I tested the water once and it got hot. Later, however, when I needed to shower, the water only got lukewarm. Maybe ask at the front desk what the deal is with that.

The shower was dirty when I walked in and a bit smelly, the staff looked a bit awkward and not really helpful

This is a nice place to stay for a day or two. Its outside the city center, but there are enough facilities nearby, and also the city is just a short walk away down the street.

We could store our luggage and the staff was helpful

They do not have a card machine though initially we were told we can pay with card. They only accept som or USD in cash. The double room did not have a double bed but twin beds/2 mattresses joined together

You've to remove shoes at reception to go room. Why???
