Rum Plaza Luxury Camp

This is the second time I have come here and it will certainly not be the last. Faisal and his family go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and always give you a warm welcome when you arrive. The camp is beautiful, well maintained and very clean. They have lots of reasonably priced hikes and activities and a wonderful star gazing show each night. The food is also absolutely fantastic. This is a wonderful camp to stay in and I can’t wait to come back again.

Beautiful site in the desert. The room has spectacular views. It is a place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We did the jeep tour and enjoyed it very much. All the hosts are super friendly. The dinner was very tasty and varied. We loved it. Highly recommended!!!

Amazing experience! Rooms at the camp are extremely comfortable and pleasant, and have a great view of the desert grounds. Beautiful! We came as a family and the restaurant manager made a point to let us know first of what was happening when; it made things a lot smoother for us. Dinner + the show was also wonderful! Overall a once in a lifetime experience.

An unforgettable stay in this authentic, family run Bedouin camp. Perfect for those looking for that sort of an experience. One of the newer camps (built 5-6 months ago) the tents are comfortable (with bathrooms) and unparalleled, open views with very large panoramic windows. The location is perfect, around the corner and a short walk from the sunset rock where everyone from other camps gather to watch the sunset every night. We were so happy we could just walk there! This was very real encounter with the Bedouin people and Bedouin life. The food was absolutely excellent as well the hospitality. The jeep tours and guides were fantastic and they are all great with children! We felt very welcome. We made lovely connections and of all places we stayed in in Jordan, this will remain our favourite.

I think we were very successful in choosing the European camp to stay with. Everything was perfect. Most importantly, the Bedouin family that owns and runs the camp is very nice, hospitable and helpful. I recommend booking a four-hour jeep tour.With the crazy guide Ayman 😂 He was really wonderful and helpful

The temperatures in Wadi Rum were low, I advise bringing more clothes

All was great! The boss Faisal has a great organisational skills so the booking and transfer to the camp was made fast and in very efficient way, the jeep tour with Ahmed was pure gold and I already miss the voice of the chef shouting ,HELLOO, GOOD MORNING'! They care very much for the cleanliness, so you can expect that it will be better than in some hotels, meals were very good and fresh. In the evening you can sit and drink tea with Beduins and have a little chat. In this camp you are not a customer, you are a guest or a friend. The best experience in Jordan !so far, thank you guys

all was great

Camp has great central place where in the evening hosts are prepearing tea on fire for guests. Dinner was excelent and tasty,made by old beduine recip, and story and show before dinner was great. Room was big, with big terase looking into sunset. Also, whole camp has great view to sunset from each spot. Organisation was good, and so were jeep and camel tour .organized by the host

Unfortunately there were a lot of clouds and we couldn't see the star clusters and the Milky Way

‪ We booked 1 night at European luxury camp, a newly opened property in wadi Rum. After 3 hours flight from Dubai, we arrived at Queen Alia Intl. Airport at Amman. The hotel organized a driver to meet us at the airport and drove us to Wadi Rum- which was almost a 3-hour drive. The location is amazing, quiet and serene, add the bubble camps and you find yourself in nature’s spectacle just like the martian terrain. Wherever you turn, the landscape wows you with amazing, picturesque views. The owner Mr. Faisal made us feel right at home and ensured our stay was comfortable. The rooms have sufficient amenities. The staff are professional and friendly. You will surely feel the welcoming Jordanian guest treatment. Breakfast, evening coffee and Dinner were a delight. I highly recommend the Jeep tours to catch stunning sunset or sunrise views. Its really worth a try. Overall a spectacular experience! Thank you Mr. Faisal ! I highly recommend this property.‬‏

My friend and I had a wonderful time at this camp. The Bedouin family running this camp were some of the most friendly people we met in Jordan. There are many camps in Wadi Rum and all have a similar set up but what made this one unique was how much effort the family put in to involve us in their traditions and life. Teaching us about how to cook the traditional food, dancing with us, inviting us to sit around the campfire and even introducing us to their camels and showing us how they milk them (camel milk is delicious by the way!). Our guide for the jeep tour was amazing, really make sure you spend time asking them about their life in the desert as it is so interesting and they are so passionate about this place. It is heartwarming. Also, the facilities are very clean and comfortable at this camp. And the food is .amazing. Thank you for an amazing stay

Two things I would suggest: My friend and I stayed 3 nights, most people just stay one or two. It would be nice to have more variety in the evening activities for people staying a longer time. Providing a thin blanket for the summer months when it is too warm to use the thick .blanket provided
