Logis Hôtel le Relais du Bas Limousin

We received a warm hospitable welcome that continued throughout our stay. Good English was spoken which we appreciated! The hotel was spotless inside and out. Our room was one of the smaller ones as the hotel was full and we booked late. It was fine though and the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and nicely done with an excellent shower. I enjoyed a relaxing swim in the pool - towels provided. We both enjoyed a delicious evening meal sitting outside looking at the sweeping view. The gardens are very well cared for and there is plenty of parking. The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes off the motorway but you don’t hear the traffic. We would definitely recommend the hotel and we would definitely stay here again.

The landscape and location

The rooms are old, you can hear the people in the rooms next door. The road is quite heard. Despite the fact that the restaurant has a children's menu option, it did not seem to me to be adapted for children. The pool had like floating papers, it didn't look dirty, but the papers thing was strange.
