Wer etwas Abstand vom Trubel der Innenstadt sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet – Klimaanlage, Wasserkocher und Kaffee inklusive. Was uns besonders begeistert hat: die Gastgeber (Mr. & Mrs. Happy). Immer ansprechbar, immer hilfsbereit – man fühlt sich von Anfang an gut aufgehoben. Für dieses Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis haben wir in Pokhara nichts Vergleichbares gefunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

I had a great two night stay here. It was by far the most comfortable room that I had during my time in Nepal, it even had a hot shower! And it wasn't the most expensive either. The location is on a quiet street at the eastern end of the main tourist drag, but this makes it convenient for the bus station, airport and trekking permit office. Super friendly helpful staff. Lovely peaceful garden. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Nothing to dislike

Un accueil rare et sincère comme on en croise peu en voyage. À la Happy Home Guest House, on se sent immédiatement adopté par la famille. Mr Happy est bien plus qu’un hôte : il vous accueille avec le sourire, toujours disponible pour discuter, aider ou partager un bon plan local. L’ambiance est chaleureuse, simple, humaine — comme à la maison, mais au bout du monde. Les chambres sont propres et calmes, avec une belle vue sur les montagnes pour certaines. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et fait maison, servi avec le cœur, dans le jardin ou sur la terrasse. Un vrai moment de plaisir pour bien commencer la journée. Si vous cherchez un lieu paisible, abordable et profondément humain à Pokhara, vous êtes au bon endroit. Une vraie pépite pour les voyageurs en quête de liens et d’authenticité. Au fil des jours, ces gens-là sont devenus comme une famille pour nous. On a créé un lien unique et sincère, de ceux qui restent gravés bien après le voyage. Merci pour tout ❤️

Mr Happy is an extremely welcoming and accommodating host - and a great cook! Be sure to include breakfast in your rate, which is excellent value for money. Convenient location for access to Lakeside. I would definitely stay at Happy Home again
