La Nereide Home Deluxe

The location is the best, the whole space in the apartment was perfect, the bedroom was spacious too, also the bed and the sofa bed was pretty confortable - 2 people can easily sleep on the sofa bed. One of the most thing that we loved is the decoration, the floor and the kitchen have the colors of Sorrento.

We believe that there are some things that could be improved. The name of the apartment is "home deluxe" but in the kitchen the fridge is super small (the size is executive) and does not cool properly, there were few cooking items. The shower in the bathroom didn't work very well. Regarding cleaning, we asked to enter earlier and we do not know if this request interfered in the fact that the apartment was not perfectly clean.

The LOCATION. For a group of young girls, being literally on the street of the town made it so easy for us to go out and roam around during the night. Being close to the supermarket was also incredible.

That there was no elevator- which we didn’t know- made it a bit tiring. And also the bedroom gets really hot during the night so woke up sweating each morning.

The apartment is completely renovated and extremely confortable for a family or a group of 4. The facilities were well maintained and our host were more than helpful. The location is superb, just in the middle of Sorrento’s center.

Exceptional service! Laura and Mario were very kind to help us carry our bags all the way up the stairs to the apartment, set up dinner reservations, and left us a platter of snacks and lemoncello! We also loved the convenience of food and shopping being right outside the building. I will definitely recommend this place!

The hosts are an A+. We had train delay from Rome (and missed the last train to Sorrento). Laura was very helpful in getting us an affordable car from Naples to Sorrento at the last minute (quite late at night) and met us upon arrival to give us the keys. The place is impeccably decorated, very clean, with amenities like a hair drier (and even hair straightener). They did a great job in capturing the Amalfi Coast feel in the decor. A particularly nice touch was the small welcome bottle of limoncello. Even though there is no washing machine, guests can easily handwash clothes as there is a clothes hanger on a sunny balcony for line drying). The location cannot be beat-- on the main pedestrian walkway-- all the action is right outside the building but the unit is not facing the street (so it is quiet). Also, the tours will pick up from the Plaza Hotel which is only a 3 minute walk from the building.

Could use a small nightlight by the door (so that guests can turn on the power in the dark when entering the unit).

We have spent here three nights in February, using Sorrento as a basis for Amalfi Coast sightseeing. Everything was great - location - main pedestrian street in Sorrento, the apartment in itself - very spacious, nicely decorated, well equipped, our hosts - Laura & Mario - very friendly, prompt, available to help!
