Alle Porte del Chianti

Our Host meet us upon arriving and familiarised us with everything which was great. Parking is not on site but ample parking 150 meters away. Kitchen lounge bedrooms beautifully furnished coloured and was a great place to stay. The place exceeded our expectations and was very reasonable priced as we were 4 people staying. Host told us were to go to get food etc which we were able to cook in a great kitchen. The area was very quiet in the evening and people in the community very friendly and helpful. We were here exploring where my father had been in WW2 as he help to liberate Florence. He had his 22nd birthday in Cerbaia. We travelled all over the region from Tavarnelle to the River Arno.

Nothing - was anxious before arriving re parking as once we booked the acceptance said there was no on site parking. However a phone call from the hosts the day before arriving stopped my anxiety as they said we can unload outside the property down a little alley off the main road and then park about 150 meters away which proved safe and easy.
