No privacy Family around Noise, kids playing around our apartment.
USZAZAThe room was large Lots of light Good kitchen lay out Clean bathroom Good bed and bedding Very quiet (except first morning with neighbours dogs barked, but I went over at 6am and told the neighbours to shut up their dog. No problem thereafter.) Working tv with sufficient channels Working wifi Close to the beach Plenty of shopping malls nearby. Close to my work. A very pleasant area to stay.
Told the owner that I did not want daily service. Maid kept on repacking my toiletries in a manner she liked! Even in the kitchen the maid repacked my goods! Even my shoes were moved to where the maid thought it should be. On the last night I arrived back at 1am only to find the apartment door wide open with the keys in the door. My very very big gripe was the advert said secure parking! By the last day I left I had almost sixty thousand rand worth of stock in my vehicle. There is NO SECURE parking. Yes there is off street parking, look at the advert pictures. Fortunately it is a quiet area, but who would have accepted responsibility if there was a smash and grab hit on my vehicle? Would it be Booking.com or the owner? Booking.com need to verify such things BEFORE accepting guest houses on their platform. I'm not making an issue of this lightly, but this is not a safe country. I also do understand the maid's desire to 'help' as she is employed full time by the family and part of her job description would be to tidy and pack away. However respect a paying tenant to have their goods left alone. The owner is a very pleasant guy, no one interfered with me and I'm sure if I needed any help of sorts he would be obliging.

ZAZAThe staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was close to the beach and the pool was lovely. I was satisfied with my stay which was very relaxing and calming.
There was an issue with the hot water, it would not stay hot long enough and showers were not amazing, the owner did help with the problem but there was still issues with the hot water. The stovetop was hard to work at the beginning but figured it out later.
