This is a very pleasant and scenic place, but definitely rustic, not luxurious. I very much enjoyed my time here but the important word is "RUSTIC". The price is very reasonable (31€, single, 2-bed room, no breakfast in late May, 15€ for a dorm bed). While not exactly a full farm, there are pigs, chickens, cats, and an extensive garden. The amenities are outstanding: full kitchen (but no oven), guest refrigerator/freezer, shaded hammock, indoor common room with couches and a 3-meter table, outdoor shaded patio, small swimming pool with 1.5 meter depth, outdoor couches/tables under shade trees, good wifi (but occasional momentary internet dropouts), free parking on site, inviting outdoor environment, loquat tree, and a basket of fresh eggs(!) for guest use. There are no private bathrooms. Owner, Ivan, works very hard and is very accommodating. The weakest point is the rooms themselves. There are 3 attic rooms, 2 with a window facing the mountains, the third with no window. The rooms are spacious but with low head clearance, 1.7 meters at the entrance and progressively lower toward the window (see photo). Except for short people, the rooms are only suitable for sleeping and storage. In addition, the top of the stairway is unprotected and attention must be paid to avoid an accidental fall. Most parents would deem it hazardous for young, unaccompanied children. The ground floor 8-bed dorm room has no window, air circulation is only through the door, and is lit by one dim light bulb -- again, only suitable for sleeping and storage. The best accommodation is a standalone cottage (but also using the shared bathrooms) in the garden which for some reason is listed in a separate booking.com entry, also starting with "Pinnettu sardo cerca su Google". I would have chosen this had I known about it.

The site is very hard to find without GPS showing your live location. It is 850 meters off the highway, the entrance is completely unsigned, and the street is shared with other buildings. Although it was not at all Ivan's fault, I did not arrive until the morning after my paid night (I slept in my car abut 500 meters away). When I said I liked it so much I would stay 3 additional nights, I was disappointed that Ivan refused my request to apply what I had already paid, but didn't use, against the new charges. Had I been the owner, since there were empty rooms anyway, I would have offered this without being asked. But, again, my failure to arrive was NOT his fault.

Ošklivé, špinavé, naprosto nevybavené, hluk

Ivan est un homme avec le cœur sur la main. Il nous a offert des fruits en arrivant et il était très attentionné. On a pu utiliser le frigo, la gazinière, le salon à l'extérieur. C'est un gîte atypique : ceux qui recherchent le luxe, passez votre chemin. Mais ceux qui veulent vivre une expérience singulière, arrêtez-vous. Vous pourrez avoir un véritable contact avec un Sarde soucieux d'écologie.

Ivan è proprio come ti aspetti un sardo doc! Qui si dice "fa da grossa ma bon me il pan" (un po' rude ma buono come il pane). Accoglie tutti in casa sua con grande ospitalità e con ottime capacità.
