GBGreat place - excellent layout and well appointed rooms. Lovely garden and outdoor spaces.
GBLocation was gorgeous, very quiet next to a sheep farm, countryside is so peaceful, perfect for kids to get off screens and go outside. Very clean beds were so so comfy, had everything we needed with plenty of clean towels. Well- stocked with lots of board games, movies and books.
Must bring your own food from home as everything is quite far if you're used to the city, nearest corner shop is 45 min walk, nearest supermarket is in the next town over which is a 15min drive.

GBBeautifully restored cottage on a quiet lane with lovely garden. The property is substantial with a good sized kitchen dining room and large living room with a great supply of games and DVD’s. The bedrooms are great all a good size with a fabulous en-suite master bedroom. Bathrooms are modern and bright. Genuinely a stand out property amongst many we have stayed in across the UK.
There were no shortcomings that we were aware of.
USA beautiful, spacious and comfortable house. Our host anticipated every need and was quick to respond to questions. The property is surrounded by lush green countryside but is within easy reach of Kendal and other local attractions.
GBThe house itself was beautiful. Each room was spacious and comfortable. We loved the outside space using the table and chairs most days when it was dry.
This is me being totally pernickety but the curtains were very light and thin. When you have a young child having to wake up at 5/5.30 due to the light makes for a very very long day.
