Downtown-Nomads-King Bed-Free Parking

Well looks like I am the first review on the site. I was aware that there were only reviews from other sites used for the rating/ score. I will do my best to be fair. Overall the property was clean and the kitchen appliances are decent quality. The communal outdoor space was a nice option as the apartment doesn't have a lot of natural light. The apartment is convenient for downtown Walnut Creek. Property management company were quick to reply to messages etc.

The upholstery in the apartment is badly stained, essentially needs replaced as I doubt steam cleaning will save it. The main issues were the sofa which doubles as a basic sofa bed, it was filthy with black stains. Additionally the two breakfast bar seats were also stained but not quite as much as the sofa. For the price of the property per night they need to replace said items as they are well past their prime. Our main issue during the stay with the apartment was a very unpleasant odor in the living area which was very distinct when we first arrived, so strong we had to open all the windows. The apartment accepts pets which could be the source of the smell. Having said that staff brought me air / fabric freshener for the room and a blanket/throw for the sofa to cover the stains. The air freshener helped to mask the odor and blanket covered the sofa stains but I would suggest for the price point we should not face these issues.
