The host(s) were extremely kind, enough so to provide some snacks and beverages and they were super quick to respond to any questions or concerns raised. Checkout was super easy and my partner and I felt appreciated and welcome the entire stay.

The only thing I felt was missing was a television for some of that vacation downtime. There was also construction going on at the time of our stay, but otherwise, still an excellent place to stay.

My stay here was awesome! Everything was smooth especially move-in and move-out. There was no need for direct contact to the host, they messaged me the credentials and how to get into my room. Room was so clean and other guests were friendly. There was also a bicycle if you needed to use! I used the kitchen all the time and there was anything you needed even a pizza cutter!

Clean. A good value. Quality communication.

My door code did not work the second night I was there, which was inconvenient when I arrived later evening, but the owner quickly remedied the situation over the phone.

Quiet house, very clean garage space converted to a living area. Has a washing machine and dryer, which I used. It has a little kitchen with a fridge and a stove. There was a little bit of food provided, which was a bonus. The air conditioning worked well, and was very quiet. Good location close to the highway. Easy to get in with the door code. The place was spotless, so whoever cleans it does a great job!

The bed folds down from the wall, and it was rather hard, and I found it uncomfortable. Upon inspection, I found it was not a mattress, but a boxspring with a foam pad on top. It looked like a mattress, but wasn't, and my body could feel the difference. It felt a little bit like camping with a ground pad. When I took a shower, the shower head was aimed too high and couldn't really be adjusted, so it was aimed right at the door, and apparently quite a bit of water leaked out through the crack of the door onto the bathroom floor. I came out of the shower to find the whole bathroom had become a puddle of water. The floor mats were soaked. I spent the next while mopping the floor and drying everything out. I had to put one of the mats in the dryer. After this ordeal, I decided to book a stay somewhere else. Even though I had reserved two nights at this house, I left it for the 2nd night and stayed at a hotel instead. I was much more comfortable sleeping on a real bed, and happy to shower without turning the bathroom floor into a puddle. I've never abandoned a place before, in all my years of travels, so this was a first. One thing I would have enjoyed too is some friendlier lighting. Maybe some lamps, for a softer feel. It just has ceiling lights, which accentuates the garage vibe. It was bright, and all the lights worked fine, but just wasn't as sweet or homey as I would have liked. I think these things can be relatively easily fixed. It would be easy enough to get a nice mattress and fix the shower head so it can aim more down instead of sideways. But until then, if you reserve this garage room... Best wishes to you! I hope you have a better experience than I did!
