Beautiful location with excellent food and wine.

The Quina is quite remote (but easy to find) . We came in by one road and out by another, spectacular scenery with lots of trees in blossom. A warm welcome , lovely views from our private terrace , good breakfast and excellent dinner in the restaurant

I would have liked a mirror in the bedroom as well as in the bathroom

There coolest most chill, authentic wine yard. With very nice staff, great wine, cute animals, and an amazing location and view. And the dinner was fantastic. We even got a welcome drink!

I appreciated being in an actual winery with fields of grapes surrounding the buildings. The room was cozy and historic with thick stone walls. The wood stove was a welcome addition on chilly evenings, and the terrace was a lovely spot to look out at the hills in the afternoon. Breakfasts were served at our table, and we also purchased the tasting dinner with the winemaker. He explained the history of wines in the Douro Valley, and we tasted 3 wines and 2 ports. This was a real highlight. The staff were always available and wanted to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We started our visit with a personally written itinerary of spots to visit in the area. After 3 days, we felt like family. The Douro Valley is magical, even in February, before the vines begin to grow. We would return to this winery and recommend it to our friends.

The winery is quite far from everywhere. You can't just run out for lunch or dinner without a plan. This could be a plus or a minus. Dinner is available at the winery.
