Hotel Convento Nossa Senhora do Carmo

Do hotel no convento e do jantar. Gostei também da localização.

Da cama do quarto que tem o colchão deformado ao meu por estar provavelmente gasto. O pequeno almoço foi bom mas pode ser melhorado na oferta. Infelizmente os incêndios e o fumo não permitiram usufruir da localização para dar passeios e estar na piscina.

A falta de Ar Condicionado fora dos quartos, corredores e salas muito quentes, falta um elevador de acesso aos pisos superiores, (difícil transportar malas mais pesadas pelas escadas), falta de bancos de apoio nos quartos para abrir as malas.

One can argue if the Hotel Convento Nossa Senhora do Carmo really deserves 4-star rating but we spent absolutely amazing days there, and we were happy we booked it! Maybe the magic of the place worked - we enjoyed everything, from very friendly and attentive staff to comfirtable bed to delicious food to beautiful garden with the crystal-clear pool! (Coffee was also good which is not common in Portugal)

When it comes to a hotel, there's always space for improvement. However, I don't remember any detail that spoiled our impressions from the Hotel Convento Nossa Senhora do Carmo

Small friendly, with good facilities. Buffet super of all kinds of Portuguese dishes. One 7kW EV charger. We left with 500km in the battery ….and they did not want payment, saying it was a service.

Nothing. All good, but be warned the roads in the village are very narrow with sharp corners.

Gorgeous facility/building. Restaurant was good.

Place looks amazing but the rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade.Bed and room were small and mattress was poor. I could hear the people in the room next door urinating. At the price point.....ehh. TV was ancient as was the bath. Pulsating water pressure with intermitant temp changes.
