This has been a delightful place to stay. Its conversion into a cute self catering cottage is exceptional in an ideal location within walking distance of the village. Would highly recommend this to anyone wishing a peaceful base for exploring this beautiful area of the Highlands.

"A wonderful stay"

Beautiful situated, walkable to the village, very well set out with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The accommodation was very clean and the complimentary coffee and cakes was a lovely surprise.

Mindful of the wooden stairs, a bit steep and slippery.

"Wunderbares Zuhause auf Zeit im hohen Norden Schottlands"

Was für ein besonderer Ort! Die alte Station der Küstenwache wurde liebevoll und auf sehr hohem Niveau renoviert. Endlich mal ein Haus in Schottland in dem man auch bei niedrigen Außentemperaturen nicht friert 😉. Dabei herrliche Blicke; ob vom Frühstückstisch oder der gemütlichen Sitzecke. Von der guten Kommunikation im Vorfeld bis zur großartigen Willkommensüberraschung hat Steph alles getan, um uns den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen. Zusätzlich zur Waschmaschine gibt es einen separaten Trockner; sehr praktisch, wenn man schon einige Zeit unterwegs ist. Eine Wäschespinne fehlt auch nicht. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Seehunde zu besuchen und wundervolle Wanderungen zu machen; die Sandwood Bay werde ich nicht vergessen. Peet's Restaurant haben wir gleich zweimal besucht... Freundlich und sehr lecker. PS: Hoffentlich bekommt EZO die Einrichtung ihrer E-Ladestationen in der Region in den Griff; so war es ein Abenteuer. Mal klappte das Schnellladen, mal mussten wir die 11 kW Station nutzen. EZO App mit hinterlegter Kreditkarte war dafür ein Muss.

"Super fijne plek op een top locatie!"

Fijne plek, leuke locatie!! Overal aan gedacht en een hele gezellige sfeer. Hele fijne tijd gehad.

Het bed was wat klein maar heel veel groter kan daar haast niet.. dus oke!

Very clean well decorated place. In a lovely position just outside the village. Use of washer, tumble dryer and washing line added bonus.
