USAfter we finally found it due to the fact that there was no GPS service, nor Internet service. It was so dark that I needed a flashlight to find my way around the grounds. I attempted to call the proprietor to get the code for the lock box, but there was no phone service as well. My wife was so scared due to the darkness that she would not exit the car. We were not told that there would be no phone service. after several attempts to contact Scandinavian chalet returned around and drove 3 1/2 hours all the way home.

There was a nice screen in porch. It was very reclusive and star gazing was incredible since no light pollution. The only thing was that the chalet was in pass the end of the road on GPS.

USEverything was wonderful. I am usually leery of sleeping away from home for more than two nights as I one who prefers comfort, ecspecially when I sleep. The mattresses and bedding are amazing. I slept well each night. The amenities were all that we needed; we brought three boys between the ages of 6 and 14. We had all cooking tools, tv channels, space, and heating /cooling comforts; home away from home. Stowe village is a short 20ish minute drive. Our coffee maker broke and we were given a new one that day… the communication with the owners was impeccable. We hope to be welcomed back in the future!
The road to the cabin, given the rain and thick cloud coverage, was a bit treacherous but, really the location, amenities, and added comforts were well received by all!
ILThe chalet was well equipped and very nice. The bedrooms were small, all the rest was lovely. Arriving was challanging, an email is sent before the stay with explanations on how to arrive and how to get in, but we didn't get it, so we spent 30 minutes on searching the chalet at dark time, in the wood. We got good value for the price and the staff was very kind and helpful

USThis is the first time I've used Booking.com for a rental property. I was pleasantly surprised - the house was beautiful and was in a remote setting in a forest. I liked how close it was to Stowe. It was also convenient to the bike trail along the river. Great stay!
