Green Boat by Madeira Best Apartments

Lovely view of sunrises and twinkling lights of Funchal. Enjoyed the hot tub on the upper deck, and the pool and outdoor shower on the lower deck (although we visited in March so the pool was used more sparingly). It was also very well stocked - pot, pan, plates, cooking utensils, etc - so it was nice to have meals at home. Downstairs is all open concept - kitchen, living room, dining room. There’s also an abundance of balconies. AC was also easy to control. Walkable to cafes and mini markets. Host was very responsive and helpful when needed but otherwise gave us a lot of privacy.

The parking! A challenge to get the car onto the parking spot, but we were in a manual hire car, being used to automatics at home. Other than that there was nothing to not like. Two things that would be useful: 1, coat hooks in the “ironing” cupboard and 2, plastic glasses for the hot tub and pool areas.

The apartment is situated in a friendly, quiet neighbourhood nearby to Funchal downtown and all amenities. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Ligia, who was a great host and very helpful. The apartment is amazing. We had such a great stay here and would definitely go back.

Ein tolles Haus, neu, voll ausgestattet, zum Wohlfühlen! Jacuzzi war km Januar sehr entspannend. Pool zum abkühlen . In Fussnähe zu Hafen, Restaurants & Altstadt.

Parkplatz am Haus nur für kleine Pkw empfehlenswert.

Die Aussicht von MBA ist phantastisch. Wir hatten am Sylvester den besten Platz um das Freuerwerk zu bejubeln. Die Location und die Ausstattung des Apartments sind geschmackvoll und neuwertig gewesen. Wir konnten den Hafen und die Stadtmitte sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen.
