Eden View Estate - Clubhouse Cottage

The property was very comfortable, relaxing and well equipped. Loved the enclosed garden as we had our dog with us.

We tried to put the log burner on one night and found that there was no firefighters so couldn’t use it 😞 Although the property was clean, there were dead flys on the ceiling above the shower, something that could easily be resolved for the future.

Nice location and beautifully decorated

We were there for two nights 8-10 Aug and the boiler didn't work for the majority of stay meaning no heating or hot water. When we reported it someone was sent to fix it quite promptly but it broke again about an hour after they left. The agency did offer to move us but we were leaving next day so didn't seem worth the hassle. The office dealing with our complaint were helpful and we did get compensated but warm showers and some heating would have been preferable.

Had a lovely stay. So very peaceful and relaxed. 5min drive and in St Andrews and the beach. Will definitely book again.

Could be cleaned a bit better. Paw prints on the glass door and hand prints on living room windows. Had a day of no hot water,as the boiler broke down

Beautiful cottage, fantastic location.

It was a nice cottage, handy location but our stay might have been better. We would still consider returning.

Cot didn't include a mattress. No mention of this in the advert or when asking for it to be added. The cot also isn't the normal size of every other travel cot, so our mattress would not have fit even if we brought it. When highlighting the lack of mattress on WhatsApp I only got confirmation that there wasn't one and no response, apologies or suggestion. Pretty poor customer service. You would have been better saying there wasn't one available. Most of the property was clean but the lampshades were covered in cobwebs, vent in the kitchen window etc. The black painted drum/table, the paint was flaking off and we had to keep cleaning it off my daughter's hands.
