We had an amazing stay. Beautiful accomodation, perfect place to unwind. Hosts made us feel welcome and always available for assistance. A real gem.

Es ist unfassbar schön in den Bergen gelegen, man kann kochen, schwimmen, Kayak fahren und zum sundowner in den Hot tub. Zum aufstehen hat uns eins der Pferde am Fenster begrüsst. war sehr toll.

Where do i even start! Great luxurious facility in a prime retreat location with exceptional host. Chris made everything possible to ensure we are very welcomed and accommodated. Top notch host & hospitality. If you are looking for a spot to unwind and forget about the busy city life, this place should definitely be part of your plan.

What an amazing place! It went so far above and beyond my expectations, I almost don't want to leave a review in case this 'secret' gets out. I cannot wait to come back and bring others. Everything was outstanding.

המקום הכי שווה שהיינו בו בדרום אפריקה!! חווה מדהימה בטבע, בית בסגנון מרוקאי, מעוצב, מרווח ומאובזר. יש בית מרכזי ו2 בתים קטנים נוספים בחצר. סהכ 5 חדרי שינה, חלל מרכזי ענק, חצר גדולה עם hot tub מול הנוף. כריס בעל החווה איש מקסים לבבי ונדיב לקח אותנו בטנדר שלו לסיבוב באזור ובערב בא לנגן אתנו בוילה והיה קשוב לכל בקשותנו. באנו ל2 לילות והצטערנו שלא הוספנו עוד לילה או שניים. מושלם לאוהבי טבע, ומרחבים שמחפשים שקט, אווירה ונופים. מומלץ בהחלט!!

Perfect location to unplug from the busy and tap into slowness. Chris was a gracious host and offered his assistance if we ever needed it, we did not, as everything was perfect.

I loved the place, and the view was breathtaking. The retreat is truly perfect for relaxation and spending a wonderful day away from the city. Everything is available in the villa except for food, so make sure to bring your own. I forgot to bring food, but Chris was amazing — he sent us a restaurant menu, and we ordered pizza, which he personally went to pick up for us. Chris also took us on a drive along the river, sharing stories about the place. At the end of the day, we sat together, chatting and sharing stories, while he played music for us around the fire.

What an excellent idea to book this magical place for one night. Chris the owner, was in Heidelberg by chance, met us and drove ahed of us to the villa. He gave us a great tour around the large property, which was a good idea, because the weather turned for the worse and we wouldn't have seen these beautiful vistas on the day of departure. Chris told us that he and his neighbour take good care of these large parcels of land, which mostly remain off bounds to tourists, are kept in their natural state and all non-indigenous trees are being removed. Our grandkids loved the villa's music-room and the biljart table. We all enjoyed being in this quiet, peaceful property that was filled with the owner's pieces of art, gathered from all or the world. We really felt that we were staying in someone's private home instead of in a holiday rental. Of course, as always, the big mistake was ,only book it for one night...

Maybe seeing a big rain-spider in one of the showers was a bit challenging for some of us, but Chris assured us that they are harmless, so we have it his/her freedom. Maybe we should have checked our return-route to Heidelberg better because it took us "a bit more time" than required, the good part was that we got to enjoy the scenery, when visible, a bit more, the bad part was that our large "people-mover" got stuck on the muddy road, we got it unstuck after a big effort, unfortunately left our many muddy prints inside the van.
