That we could enter 1 hour before check in without any hassle.

We stayed at the Serenity farm from the 22th till the 23rd December, and luckily we only spend 1 night. The check in was chaotic, no real front office just a table near the wall, a good mark was the fact we could check in a hour earlier without any problems. The room we got was number 7, right beside the kitchen entrance, with a sitting area in front. Talk about some privacy.... and that's the only place where you can sit, the room itself is too small. But fine, we enjoyed especially the argument/fight between the staff for not using the radio to call out food at 7.15 in the morning.... the whole place is by the way not sereen as the name may suggest. The roads going past the complex are too nearby and down in the valley, generating a lot of traffic noise up to the complex. And for the price of € 66,00 per night I at least want a normal blanket and not 2 washcloths found in the give away box at the local church. Had the same texture as a washcloth too. Talking about a church, the complex has a Christian identity, I don't mind, but could have mentioned, the music in the restaurant will almost turn a Atheïst religious.... almost. And for the no drinking part in the restaurant.... wasn't it Jesus himself that turned water into wine..... just saying... The overall look of the place is a mixture of cleanliness, rubbish,  building materials and delayed upkeep. As some parts are very nice, some lack the tidiness of that other parts. Deflated balloons on the ground at the swimming pool, building materials at the main entrance, uncovered and in the open, boards and building materials in the pool/biljard area, discarded materials under the deck area at the swimming pool, unmaintained objects in the field below the deck, and so one. The fact that we needed to walk a bit to the pool doesn't bother me. What bothered me is that we needed to walk thru the restaurant to get there, and of course back, all wet.
