Villa Palummo - Stunning Sea View Zambrone, Calabria

The location was easy to find and close to everything. View from the outside was excellent. The property manager was very nice and helpful.

The main bedroom bed was extremely uncomfortable. The second bedroom was not made so I had to make up the bed. The wifi didn't work hardly at all. Also some of the appliances were difficult to use and there were no instructions. The response from the owners was delayed. Alot of cats outside so had to be careful opening doors and windows.

Die Aussicht ist Top. Der Pool ist auch sehr schön (für die gesamte Häusergruppe ein Pool). Es war sehr sauber.

Das Haus ist für vier Personen etwas klein. Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein. Für zwei Personen ideal. Keine Möbel auf der Dachterrasse.

Sowohl die Lage als auch die Ausstattung des Hauses sind perfekt. Der Kühlschrank ist ausreichend groß um für mehrere Tage Vorräte zu haben. Es ist alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird- sogar ein Gasgrill auf der Terasse. Für den Internetzugang wurde allerdings ein "Stecker" zum Laden des Moduls benötigt. Einen solchen hatten wir nicht dabei- glücklicherweise einen Laptop, der die gleiche Funktion erfüllte. Im Garten befindet sich sogar eine OutdoorDusche - direkt mit Blick zum Meer- sagenhaft.

Leider befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe kein Supermarkt und auch kein Bäcker etc.. Der nächste gut sortierte Supermarkt befindet sich Richtung Tropea- also ca. 18 Km entfernt. Ebenso gibt es in der Nähe sehr wenige Restaurants oder Bars. Darauf hat natürlich der Vermieter keinen Einfluss - sollte aber bei der Planung der Einkäufe und der notwendigen Essensplanung berücksichtigt werden.

The Villa felt more like a house sitting arrangement as opposed to a typical air-bnb. Insufficient power points in living room & second bedroom to enable adequate charging of phones Insufficient cupboard storage in second bedroom as one cupboard is locked and part of the other cupboard is used for linen storage. Difficult to effectively use hanging rail in n this cupboard due to height of rail. Bathroom cupboards cluttered with personal items that restrict guests being able to place their toiletries in them. Check in orientation was poor with inadequate information being provided particularly about WiFi connection. Got the impression that this property was not frequently used for holiday guests but rather maintained as a family holiday home.

Nice house with garden and car parking. Quiet area, 5 min from the beach by car. 15 min from Tropea. Magnificent view. Friendly hosts. We will probably come back
