FELLINI SUITES Lungomare near the sea

The check-in process was seamless, and all credit to our accommodating host. Our stay in Catania was nothing short of remarkable, and the apartment provided all the essentials for both brief and extended visits. Conveniently located, it's about a 30-minute walk to the Central Station and the heart of the city, although your mileage may vary based on your fondness for walking. The apartment is well-equipped with necessary appliances, complete with a washing machine and a coffee station for added convenience. Towels and toiletries were also thoughtfully provided.

In the evenings, up until midnight, we experienced a disturbance from the air conditioning system. Despite our own unit being switched off, the sound seemed to emanate from the AC installations in adjacent rooms or suites.

Moldy bathroom!!! Especially showerhead!! The mold was falling down on me!! Dirty floors, dirty kitchen! Also, we should have deluxe room and we had just basic one! So the room was really small for the higher price!

Everything was good, but the apartment is far away from the centre without car.

Bright marble entrance in the befroom room and bathroom. Good strorage The comfortable bed and pillows. Welcome snacks and soft drinks, tea a few coffee, pods, sugar dish washing liquid, paper towel roll and cleaning materials outside in the entrance hall. Coffee machine, full size fridge, small electric burner, Fabulous Tris Bar for breakfasts and cakes only half a minute walk. A bus stop in front unfortunately found it on the last morning. Small but decent bathroom. Supermarkets and bakeries nearby. Lots of restaurants and not far to the coast.

No clear name of apartment on bell card. Dingy exterior. Our flights were cancelled due to a Strike. We s pent 14 hours at Malta airport. Kept the manager informed. Arrived at 1.30 am and couldn't wake him. About to go to a hotel when a WhatsApp message said he'd open the doors He opened 3 doors to enter the room by 2.15 am A Stressful experience and we never met or spoke to him. The Room is smaller than in the photo. No chairs or sofa poor I feel, for a de luxe room. Towels not changed during our 4vday stay. The kitchen was a veranda. Adequate with 2 stools and a small table looking out onto a courtyard which smelt of food. Too far to walk to town. Would have liked bus times in the room manual.

Very easy communication with the host. Answered quickly, and even when we had a small key issue that was our fault, the host remotely let us back in. It was a nice touch to provide a snack bar and welcome drinks, as stores were already closed when we arrived. It felt safe as there will triple doors and cameras around.

Unfortunately, as another guest reviewed, there was a horrible smell from the kitchen/balcony area. Something awful from the plubming pipes. Every time we returned to the apartment, the odor really put us off :( Perhaps it's not the owner's fault, but maybe it's worth installing some kind of air purifier to kill the smell. The bathroom was clean, but maybe scrub the shower corners a little more ;) Thanks in general for the stay.

Great host. Minor problem just after check in was taken care of quickly. The bed was superb. The heat worked well. In a local neighborhood with plenty of services. About a 10 minute walk from a metro station., 20 - 25 minute walk to Catania Centrale train station.

Every noise from the adjacent apartments comes through the walls. The stovetop had only one burner.

The cleanliness of the room, equipped with everything that you need (heater, air conditioning, Tv with Netflix available, hair drier, little kitchen…. Etc) . Tea, coffee, some snacks in the room The owner was available to contact. The restaurant round the corner Tris Bar was really good for breakfast (best canolo).

The APP to enter into the room linked to the phone (risk if the phone dies you are out of the property and unable to contact anyone) didn’t work during the whole stay. Every time we had to enter the property we had to contact the owner. Once we stayed until late and we waited in the middle of the night in the street during approximately 1 and a half hours as owner was sleeping and we had to contact even Booking. The location was not as central of Catania as we thought, walking distance to main shops, restaurants and activities around 40-45mins walking, and the way to the Center was looking a bit dodgy
