Second bed in the twin room had a terrible mattress
GBnothing, it was untidy and unhygienic it didn’t look like it had been cleaned since the last guests stayed there, in the cupboards there was out of date food
it was unhygienic, the person who we contacted with regarding the property gave us the wrong information to enter the property

GBThe layout was good with the 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. The kitchen was a good set up with all basic essentials. It's a flat above a shop and that's handy for any bits Adequate towels provided for all guests (1 bath towel and 1 hand towel each).
The phone reception in that area/flat is very poor and unfortunately we had no WiFi to use any of the televisions provided, which was raised with the property owner and we were informed that his previous guest reported no issues but there was a bt engineer coming on the 17th. The thermostat was on a separate WiFi router but no access is given to guests for that. The double bed and 1 si gle bed have decent mattresses but the other single bed was uncomfortable due to feeling the springs. Each room had what seemed to be speakers in the ceiling but nothing explaining what they were. 3/4 lights in bathroom were blown but still usable. Unusual light switch which left my 4 year old niece using the toilet with the light dimming on and off. Basic improvements needed, but basic needs met

Someone should have at the property and show us how to switch on the central heating. We only manage to switch on the central heating in the main bedroom and couldn’t switch on the other rooms.

From arrival we were met with abuse about the parking and the front door had a smashed window making it unsecured. Inside it’s like it’s been a shop facility converted . Wires hanging out, bathroom window didn’t shut. 1 bed broke , linen and towels awful. Carpets and sofa badly stained. We literally stayed dressed had a couple of hours on top of beds and left . It spoilt our break , we had been at an awards day and came to this property and were so deflated. If we hadn’t had a drink I would have drove home

The bed needs a new mattress has you can feel every spring, no parking as previous tenants van is still in parking space
GBLocation was perfect for our plans that weekend and apartment suited to our needs.
Standard of cleanliness, limited glasses and parking instructions were confusing as we received a note left of the windscreen from another apartment.

Couldn't access property via key code. Were lucky host answered phone. Bed was uncomfortable as lumpy mattress. Smell in the lounge. TV not set up for easy use.
