Just got back from our weekend away and overall we enjoyed our stay. The house is nicely decorated and the outside space has been well thought out and ideal for summer stays. The barbecue was great and we enjoyed cooking and eating all of our meals al fresco. The hot tub is a nice addition and is ideally suited for no more than four people at a time. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy ourselves fully on our second day as the water was very cloudy and smelt like rotten cabbages and was really unpleasant. There were no instructions how to use the hot tub and also no information regarding health and safety while using the hot tub. As the majority of guests would most likely be unfamiliar with hot tubs, as a group, we felt that this information would be useful. We did take a sample of the water and will contact the owner should there be any major concerns. In our opinion the house is only big enough for six people, or less. As a party of eight people, one bathroom is not enough which makes getting ready in the morning very time consuming and there is only sufficient comfortable seating inside for a maximum of six people. We were lucky that the weather was good and we sat outside during our. It did rain but the outside area is covered. As others have mentioned, the bathroom can end up like a wet room if you’re not careful. There is an ‘over the bath’ shower which has a mat in front of it. The drain is underneath the mat, so make sure that you move the mat to ensure proper drainage. Looking at other reviews some people have mentioned not feeling safe. The area is a little run down, but the house itself is very nice and none of our group felt uneasy. There are two gates leading to the property, which can be locked to ensure everyone’s security should there be any concerns. If you are planning on staying with a larger group, be aware there is only a permit for one car. There are plenty of car parks around, which vary in price. There are also some free car parks.

When we booked the property, it explained that there would be cctv cameras in the garden due to health and safety because of the hot tub. We was all fine with this an understood. However there was a small cctv camera in the kitchen directly facing the living room. Two members of the party were sleeping in the living room and we found this really uncomfortable and intrusive. It made us all feel very uneasy that our every move was being watched. It seemed very unnecessary and there seemed to be no warning of the one in the house where I feel we should have been warned.

Was lovely there great location and so close to the beach front! With 8 of us we used all the beds they were comfortable even the sofa was lovely to sleep on, we definitely would come back

Super clean and cosy modern house, fantastic hot tub which we made great use of, kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher and washing machine. Loads of space for the 4 of us. Heating was always switched on (thermostat), WiFi was fast...

Only a couple of minor things, for example the area that the house is located in feels very dodgy. Lots of CCTV and various security measures. The kitchen has a coffee machine which is a luxury, except it wasn't easy to figure out how to use it.

We booked last minute and was blown away by how beautiful this property was. It was clean and tidy, the host was easy to contact and was very polite, the children loved the hot tub too 💝

I actually don’t think I have anything negative to say.
