Apartment In Fort Cambridge with Pool

We booked the airport shuttle for 20 EUR which was a great idea since it is quite a drive. Edward (the host & driver) was friendly & helpful. There are additional fees to pay upon arrival - 250 EUR security deposit & 50 EUR cleaning fee + a small tourist tax. I don't understand why they charge for cleaning when check-out instructions indicate that you must take out the garbage, tidy up the apartment & wash the dishes or else there could be an additional 150 EUR charge. For that price, they could do a bit more of the "tidying up." When you check-in they record the electricity meter. You are only allowed to use a certain amount and if you go over they charge you. The en-suite bathroom was small with a tiny shower. If you touch the pipe where the hot water comes out it burns the skin! The larger bathroom had no shower curtain to keep water in & we needed more towels. The TV signal was an issue. We couldn't get it to work for 2 days despite following their instructions & the front door was difficult to open, we were stuck outside for 30 mins until a neighbor helped. There was a leak under the kitchen sink that seeped water onto the floor but it was promptly fixed. The dinette chairs are stained & dirty but other than that, most of the furniture looks new & the apartment is spacious & clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is close to the harbor, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The bus stops are close and there is a lot to see & do.
