Luxury 1 Bedroom Bournville Apartment

Great location, secure building, free parking, clean.

No mugs and very little cutlery.

Perfect location for us as we were visiting Cadbury World and this couldn't be closer. We then had a lovely canal side walk directly from Bournville 4 miles right into the heart of Birmingham city centre. A few pubs and bars later, evening meal and then caught the train back (£3.50) 4 stops to Bournville and 2 minutes walk back to the apartment. Parking is easy and convenient. There was wi-fi despite the listing saying that there wasn't btw.

The Franklin is one of those buildings that is colder on the inside than the outside! Great in heatwave but not in April so the apartment is very cold whenever you first enter. The heating is however really effective so after 5 minutes its all good. The are a few classic rental oversights like no shelf / alcove in the shower for your soap and shampoo, the light in shower doesn't work but nobody (including me!) tells the landlord so its never gets fixed, the cheapest mattress I've ever slept on (OK for 2 nights but probably wouldn't want longer), no plug for the kitchen sink. Oh and owner opposite has a yappy dog.

The bed was not great for a couple as it was uncomfortable and too “bouncy”.

Excellent location, lovely village, ideal for our business in the city. Had all the facilities we required. Would not hesitate to stay here again

There were no problems

The accomodation is in a perfect location and is very well equipped.The heating was broken at the time of my stay however a radiator had been supplied which was sufficient and the owner informed me about the issue straight away. These things happen and I was grateful to be kept informed. My whole stay was great , lovely accomodation, great facilities and a perfect location. Will be staying again! Thank you

Excellent Location with parking, just opposite Cadbury World. Very comfortable apartment, and excellent communication all the way through the process.
