It was a great overall experience and Dani is an outstanding host! The kitchen was full of tasty products that we tried, loved and were later able to by from Dani’s beautiful Taverna (3 min drive). My recommendation is also to have a car with you to have and easier time reaching the beautiful beaches around the house.

The noise from the street across was not ideal but with the fountain on the pool running and the music playing for us it was ok.

Its very private, beautiful, well designed and clean villa. There are some innovative design choices allowing you to open up the porch or the kitchens dining area, allowing for great breakfast and dinner or just lounge options, the sunroof is very well placed as is the wall by the pool, allowing for some parts ofthe pool to be in shadow during different times of the day, more so, there are enough sun umbrellas or other options for shades during midday, you can also open the sunroof if more sunlight is what you want. The villa is fully equipted for "living", so you find the kitchen stocked up with spices, oils and so on. The villas host is friendly and very helpful and is there if you need anything. The villa is cleaned by a housemaid regulary with no extra charge. The beach is about 10 min. walk away, its a sandy beach, with showers and all. There is a small town nearby, with markets, bars, taverna and so on. The villa has a beautiful garden, grass and plants. Even spice plants for wich Crete is famous.

The town is rather far away, so some sort of transportation is needed.

Beautiful villa in a great location by the beach and close enough to be able to walk into town. Fabulous friendly hosts who also run the nearby restaurant which is set in an idyllic location with delicious food and drink.

The road was a bit noisy but we were able to tune out the traffic and enjoy the sound of cicadas!

The layout of the villa was very good for summer vacations, in a very good location. Well equipped kitchen and hosts super friendly.

The bbq wasn't very clean, but it was probably because of the previous guests.

the house was very dusty, the host greeted us with many treats and drinks .we had a few electrical problems power shortages . sleeping in the sofa beds is impossible since there are blinds on only some of the windows even though the owners sent someone to install blinds during our stay another problem is noise from the highway nearby which also makes it very hard and long to reach the nearby beach .
