Bellissima casa al mare

The property was in a perfect position, the facilities inside were perfect we couldn’t have asked for more.

The only thing I can say is we were shocked on arrival as there was a steep staircase to climb carrying luggage which was not easy, this is because of the design of the house but once inside it’s perfect.

Beautiful old property set in an old street … friendly neighbourhood and l loved the old lady who greeted us like family. Fantastic restaurants very close.

The property is in need of some TLC but I understand this work is planned for the week after we leave . Sadly the stay did not run too smoothly as repairs to the electrics became necessary and we were without hot water in our bathroom for 5 days - I was then told I had broken the law as I had had the air conditioning set at 17 and over loaded the system. !!! There are no windows in the bedrooms and it got very warm. Be prepared to take the garbage out to avoid fabricated allegations by the owner thankfully I took photos of how I left the place. The iron was repaired with black tape so I was not confident it was a 100% safe but we did use it and it did work. The host was vey upset with my truthful review and choose not to compensate our stay.as a result .

Excellent location between Bari, Matera and Lecce. Very comfortable.

Stairs are a bit steep! Light over sink did not work. Feather pillows were a disaster.

Apartment is gorgeous, spacious and even has a terrace. It is very lovely and clean

There is quite a lot of steps to get to the apt with large suitcases it’s a bit of an issue. Though it is close to the sea, it is not close to the beach, closes beaches are about 20 min walk

the layout for a family and how cool the decor was. We especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen on the rooftop with the view!! Even lucky enough to see fireworks a couple of nights ! I really appreciated the ongoing communication with Donata anticipating our possible needs.
