Nicely decorated little house in a great location for central Harrogate. Walking distance to restaurants etc. We were attending a wedding at the Valley Gardens and it was about a 15 minute walk, so really convenient for us. The beds and linen were comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped. The coffee machine with supplies and biscuits was a lovely touch. Smart TV was great. The stairs are steep but I haven’t put that as a negative as we were a family with tweens/teens and didn’t have any trouble with them. Great comms from the host before and during stay.

Bathroom decor is a little tired, although everywhere was very clean. The water in the downstairs bathroom was scalding hot, but we have reported to the host so hopefully it’s been resolved.

Location is brilliant.

Stairs are impractical and this should be mentioned out clearly before someone makes the booking. It was only after I had made the booking and made payment that the host happened to mention it. At the bottom of every staircase/landing there’s a radiator covering with SHARP corners, meaning if and WHEN you will misstep and fall, you will injure yourself gravely. The downstairs bathroom has black mould, peeling paint, sink that is far too small for the tap and the toilet seat was loose (which I mentioned to the host but did not get any response). The upstairs toilet/shower was far too cramped and the sink was completely inaccessible and pointless in all honesty. There’s no reason why that bathroom could not be made wider and better refurbished to utilise the space upstairs rather than having a pointless drawer. Though the parking permits are provided for the exact number of days you stay, it’s still impractical as the spaces are limited and can be a nightmare to find parking. There needs to be more consideration towards the cleanliness and general upkeep of the place. For something that says newly refurbished the state of the bathrooms etc. make me sceptical of what this statement actually means.

Clean, modern apartment perfectly located for central Harrogate

Travelling with my 80 year old mother the stairs were quite dangerous for her, very steep and narrow steps so she had to come down the stairs very carefully in her bottom to avoid falling. I wouldn’t recommend the property for any older guests or anyone mobility issues. The street parking was also quite difficult to find with dine if the nearby roads being very narrow with double parking.

The location was excellent and the host was responsive to my questions and suggested improvements.

The two staircases are extremely steep with narrow treads, making them challenging for even fit and agile people. The house was not very clean and the bathroom has quite a bit of mould in it. Also the bath is very high so it’s tricky to climb in and out of, plus it means that anyone over 5 foot 7 inches tall can’t fit underneath the shower head. The free parking is slightly misleading…the street is in a controlled parking zone so you have to park in a designated bay. The owner left parking vouchers for the correct number of days so we could park in the bays, but we still had to remember to change the voucher each day. At times the street was busy and it could be tricky to park outside the house.

Great location ,clean etc sleeps 6 people however seating in sitting room seats 4-5 maximum, we had to sit at table. I feel the staircases should be mentioned i'm 57 and would say fit for age them staircases are steep older people may struggle. No mirrors in 2nd (back) & 3rd (loft) bedroom ,also no where to hang clothes in same rooms. These should maybe also mentioned . That said for purpose of those with maybe mobility issues. Great weekend had by all otherwise.

Lovely property and great location

Very modern and great location, everything needed was provided. Great communication with the host, very helpful and responded promptly.

Despite the heating working, downstairs was still quite cold, especially for a young baby.
