Jungle Wave Villa in Central Seminyak

The main bedroom is huge and lovely, very comfortable bedding. The entire villa is decorated really nicely. There was lots of mosquito repellent around for us to use. The downstairs bedroom is also quite nice. The shower was very cool, a unique design! We had an issue with the water dispenser and this was quickly fixed for us. The villa is near restaurants and shops and the beach is a short walk away.

Because the living/kitchen area is open to the outside it gets very hot, even with fans on. It would be nice to put some chairs or a little sofa in the upstairs bedroom so people can use this as a refuge when it gets too hot. We ended up storing some food in the microwave to make sure ants wouldn't get at it, so might be good to provide bag clips or some other way to keep food protected like one of those plastic fly dome things. We did put most things in the fridge so that was fine though. The steps up to the main bedroom were a little uneven so this might be an issue for people with mobility problems, although there is a ground floor bedroom as well.

The location is amazing! The property is very homely. The host is very active and helpful. The host is very thoughtful with tons of repellent, great soap, umbrellas and things to cool as well. Overall a very try comfortable experience.

It has an open living area so if you are not okay with bugs and lizards, then it might be an issue.

I stayed at Jungle Wave Villa in Seminyak from the 28th to the 30th of December, and from the moment I stepped in, I was completely in love with the place. In fact, I loved it so much that I decided to extend my stay for an entire week! Marla, the host, is simply superb—the best host I’ve ever encountered in Bali. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of amazing. Marla’s accommodating nature and attention to detail truly set this experience apart. The location of the villa is perfect, offering both convenience and a tranquil atmosphere. Whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, or with family, this villa is ideal. I’ve already made up my mind—every time I’m in Bali, Jungle Wave Villa will be my home away from home. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you, Marla, for an unforgettable stay!

The villa was bright, spacious and comfortable (perfect for 3/4 ppl) There were alot of mosquito repellents available TV with YouTube, Netflix and Apple Music was available

Absolutely beautiful place, very spacious, lovely decorated and very well taken care of. Communication with host/owner Marla was flawless. Perfect mix of somewhat "authentic" Balinese home but also modern and comfortable (plus 2 huge TVs for rainy days 😉) . If you look for a cosy home in Seminjak, I would definitely recommend this place!

The house is amazing, well taken care of. The communication with the host was really good and quick. She allowed us to do a late check out so we could have a nap and a shower before our long flight home. We were a bit scared of booking this villa because there were so few reviews, but glad we did! There was fresh fruit and enough fresh linnen. Beds are super comfi.

We stayed at this great spot in Semyniak for a week and ended up extending our stay because we liked it so much. The location is awesome—right in the center of everything, super close to the beach, but still really quiet and peaceful. After traveling around Bali for a few weeks, we really came to appreciate the little things that made this place stand out. Here are a few highlights: • Regular cleaning: The room was cleaned every second day, and we got fresh towels regularly. • Beach towels: They also provided beach towels, and those were swapped out just as often. So thankful for that! • Water dispenser: Having a water dispenser in the kitchen with plenty of water was super convenient. • Mosquito spray & gadgets: in every room was mosquito repellent and other gadgets to keep bugs away—be aware that you live in an open living and kitchen area so there is mosquitos etc. • Well-equipped kitchen: The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals, which was really handy. • Private and cozy: The whole place was really private. It was cozy, green, and had a super relaxing vibe. • Fresh fruit: As a nice little touch, we even got fresh fruit when we arrived. Overall, it was a peaceful and relaxing stay, and being so close to the beach was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a chill spot in that area!
