Johnson's Beach Cabins and Campground

The staff couldn't check me in, I had to do it online. They were no help. Plus, the gardener sprayed water all over near the bottom of the stairs and I almost slipped in the mud that it created.

The location. It was fine. Would be great if we were wanting the camping experience. We just needed a place to stay for the night.

Pretty bare bones for the price.

a perfect place to relax for the weekend or holidays.

The facility is wonderful! Bathrooms were clean, the cabana was clean as well. So close to the river and walking distance to the town.

There is a homeless encampment nearby, completely separate from the campground but the noise travels. There was constant screaming and yelling all evening. My husband and I ended up leaving at around 2am due to the noise. I did contact the staff regarding that issue and they did advise me that they constantly walk the premise throughout the night to ensure safety. I appreciated hearing that. I am a light sleeper and could not sleep through the loud noise which was why we ended up leaving.

My tent had wood thrown out of the grill and the area needed to be raked messy around the tent . I loved staying in the glamping tents .
