Sea Haven holiday cottage at Staithes

Location was excellent, outstanding views. Cottage was quirky and characterful. Well equipped.

Amazing location! Can park outside the property or close by if you don't want to park on the steep hill. Hosts were excellent with communication.

In need of modernisation and a good deep clean. Hoovered well over 200 spiders and lots of dead woodlice on our 4 night stay. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem if you're not bothered by them though.

Excellent location and view. Seating area at the front.

A minor point: a safety handle where the stairs to the bedroom,bathroom and downstairs meet would be a help.

The location was great. A great place to explore Staithes & the surrounding areas.

The accommodation was perhaps a little on the basic side, which I'm sure is as a result of its location. It is on a very steep hill, so we parked at the bottom!

Self-catering. Location superb - good view of sea, quiet, out of main area of village, but only a minute or two's walk away. Felt "homely". Reasonable lighting for reading. Even on the one wet day, we enjoyed sitting in the bay window watching the waves crash on the shore.

Nothing that can be corrected : low headroom on stairs might be awkward for taller, less flexible people.
